By accessing and using TalkTheTrade ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
• Maintain the security of your password and account credentials.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Not create multiple accounts or share your account with others.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials or course access with others.
• Copy, download, screen-record, or redistribute course content.
• Use the platform for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the platform.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform.
• Post misleading, defamatory, or harmful content in any user-generated areas.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access platform content.

All content on TalkTheTrade — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, videos, audio, quizzes, downloadable materials, and software — is the property of TalkTheTrade or its content creators and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written permission. The TalkTheTrade name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of TalkTheTrade.

Upon purchase, you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access course content for your individual educational use. This license:

• Grants lifetime access to the course content as it exists at the time of purchase.
• Allows you to download provided resources for personal use only.
• Does not grant rights to share, resell, or commercially exploit any content.
• May be revoked if you violate these Terms.

Free courses (including Trades 101) are provided at our discretion and may be modified or discontinued at any time.

Paid courses and bundles are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to:

• Pay all fees associated with your purchase at the prices listed at checkout.
• Provide valid and authorized payment information.
• Our 30-day money-back guarantee: contact us within 30 days for a full refund, no questions asked.

Prices are listed in USD and may change without notice. Promotional pricing and discounts are available for a limited time and may be modified or withdrawn at our discretion. Full Stripe payment integration is actively being expanded.

Our courses are for educational purposes only. While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information:

• We do not guarantee that our courses will result in employment, certification, or any specific outcome.
• The skilled trades industry has inherent physical risks — always follow proper safety protocols and local regulations.
• Salary figures, job outlook data, and industry statistics are estimates and may vary by location and market conditions.
• The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TalkTheTrade shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the platform.
• Any content, information, or recommendations provided through our courses.
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.
• Any third-party conduct or content on the platform.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific course or service in question within the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the platform at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is otherwise objectionable.

Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) shall survive.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at privacy@talkthetrade.com.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New Mexico.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
